Visiting Sonera´s network
When visiting Finland, it pays you to utilize Sonera’s extensive high-quality mobile network. The network coverage is excellent no matter whether you are located in a basement or parking garage, at a summer cottage in the archipelago or in the fells of Lapland.
Roaming allows you to use foreign mobile subscriptions in Sonera’s network. Extensive roaming agreements make it possible to benefit from low-price calls with the mobile subscriptions of almost 300 foreign operators. The prices vary according to the operator – so please check your call charge with your own operator.
Network selection
When you arrive in Finland, your mobile phone will automatically find the network of an operator with which your own operator has a roaming agreement. If you wish, however, you can also select the network manually. Manual network selection can also be useful if the network signal of the automatically selected operator is weak.
